🟒 2026 Mar – The Sandbox Acre Drafted

Below is a concept layout for our 1-acre smart farm proof of concept in Raglan Victoria β€” combining food production, water harvesting, solar, poultry, aquaponics, and remote monitoring. We’re looking to connect with aligned partners in farming, sustainability, agtech, infrastructure.

The orchard trees finalized in O1 are:

  • Chestnut β€” CH1
  • Mulberry β€” MUL1
  • Walnut β€” WAL1
  • Cherry β€” CHR1

🟒 April 2026 – Remote Monitoring Installed

A fully off-grid remote camera system has been installed on-site, enabling live visibility of the property from anywhere. This marks the first operational infrastructure component at Roar Forever Farms and establishes the foundation for future smart-farm systems.

🟒2026 May – Launched Roar Forever Observatory️

Using Seestar S30 Pro smart telescope, we captured our first lunar footage during initial testing for Roar Forever Observatory.

This "first light" observation marks the beginning of the observatory journey and the next phase of exploring astronomy, astrophotography, automation, remote monitoring, and future dark-sky imaging opportunities. Every great observatory starts with a first glimpse. Many more nights under the stars ahead. See below what we captured, a timelapse of smallest full moon of 2026 - Rare Blue Moon!

🟒 2026 Jun – Council Engagement & POC Planning

During June, a pre-application meeting was held with the local council to discuss the long-term Smart Farm vision. The meeting provided valuable planning guidance, helping identify key planning considerations before significant design or planning expenditure is committed.

Based on this feedback, the project will continue with an agriculture-first staged approach, with the immediate focus on planning and developing the 1-acre Smart Farm Proof of Concept (POC) - The Sandbox Acre.

Technology trials also continued during June, including evaluation of the remote monitoring system, satellite internet and off-grid power system ahead of their planned deployment on the property.

Discussions are also underway with a local farmers regarding ongoing agricultural production across the remaining 19 acres, complementing the staged development of the Smart Farm POC.

🟒 2026 Aug – Dam Cleanup

Too easy! We had a top-notch local farmer pitch in and help us sort out the dam cleanup. Getting this water infrastructure squared away is a massive win for the project and has us stoked for the next stages!
